One of the more complex tasks of water removal in an aftermath of a flood is restoring your car to its pre-disaster conditions. Whether parked in a garage, or on the streets, there is a chance that excessive water may have gotten inside your car, the engine bay or even the gas tank.

Most people think that a vehicle that looks good on the outside is a safe buy. Not everyone is an expert on cars.

Unless your car is Bumblebee or Optimus Prime or one of those really neat Autobots (or a land-based Decepticon, if you prefer the dark side), flooded cars are serious mishaps that could spell great financial loss for the owner. This could be true for vehicles that are somewhat outdated and not properly insured.

When washing our vehicle, hard water is usually used. A car wash in our neighborhood also does the same. While this is the most practical way of washing our cars, many are not aware that minerals contained in the local water supply can stick into windows and windshields, leaving spots that may prove to be irremovable later on, or worse, can affect one's line of sight while driving.
