The collocation of black and white is always attractive. The public knows it, and the top designers of fashion know it. That’s why we could see so many black and white classic in the daily life, from the collocation of clothes in black and white to the design of accessories such as the black and white bags etc. The black and white attraction goes with watches too. Just take a look at the Montblanc TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph and you’ll know its appeal.

The masterpiece showcases a 43mm black DLC steel case, with an unevenly structured dial in black too. The oversized even hour markers are showed in the contrasting bright white color, with the odd hour markers displayed in double thin strips in a less bright white color. Besides these hour markers, other indexes in the dial also appear in white, exquisitely matching with the general dial design. The slices of red in the two “flyback” second hands upgrade the whole black and white design to a higher level.

Not only is the design of the dial attractive, but also are the functions of this masterpiece powerful. As a twin flyback chrono, only one chrono button and two pushes are needed to count the time while in a normal chrono, there need to be two chrono buttons and four pushes to get the same result of a flyback chronograph. The detailed operation is like this: you push the chrono button for the first time to start the seconds hand while a second push returns the seconds hand to zero and go on timing. Isn’t it amazing?

Coming with a black leather strap, this Montblanc TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph will be presented in SIHH 2011.
